Resolve problems by taking appropriate actions as dictated by the circumstances;
Communicate effectively, & in accordance with the ICARE values, in-person, via the telephone, & via email;
Assist in training new Caregivers;
Maintain inventory, replenish stock & supplies;
Perform technical, clerical, & service duties as assigned, including (but not limited to: equipment cleaning & maintenance, emptying trash, washing dishes, taking & recording temperatures, filing & retrieving specimens, handling biohazard & chemical waste);
Follow instructions given by Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Pathologists, & Leaders.

Performs document imaging in EPIC as assigned, retrieve samples for additional testing.
Accurately fills supply request orders by compiling supplies in correct quantities as requested by physician office within 24 hours of request when needed.
Communicates with the Shift Supervisor immediately if there is a critical problem with a specimen or order.
Consistently create an exceptional experience with each contact, via inbound and outbound calls, online chat, email, etc.
Follow all Lab safety procedures to minimize risk to self, and others; reports gaps and escalates as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
